Tenbury Horse & Pony Show

Our  Horse & Pony show is family friendly. It’s suitable for riders of all ages and abilities. With approximately 65 classes there is something to suit most types of Horses and Ponies. These include: Fancy Dress, Handy Pony, Shires, Registered Welsh ponies, jumping and many other showing classes. Our Horse & Pony section attracts competitors locally and from further afield.

The morning showing classes are in the Main Ring, which is split into 4 individual rings. These classes start at 8.30am and finish at 1pm. with two further rings for the show jumping and working hunter classes which run through the day. Each ring has its own section in the schedule.

Rules

All competitors must enter before the day but can enter extra classes on the day if they wish to.

Horses/ponies can be entered in more than one section if they qualify for the classes,

E.g. a hunter can enter the Hunter class and the Veteran classes. They may qualify for several classes i.e. In hand and Ridden

Horses/ponies can also be ridden by different riders even in the same section if they qualify for the class

E.g. Little Tom can ride Poppy in the lead rein class, big sister Flo can ride Poppy in the

first ridden.

Families with several children and ponies of varying sizes can get very complicated! Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
