Calf Class 2025
This year, for the first time ever, 12 young farmers, from five local families have each taken on the challenge to rear, prep and show a calf each.
On show day, the young handlers themselves and their calves will be judged for their appearance, showing ability and appraisal of rearing the calf.
These calves have been kindly sponsored/donated by Meadow Quality and Martin and Carole Powell. Their mission: to encourage the next generation of young farmers, and to continue an age old tradition of showing cattle.
